In 1967, after years of constant touring and life in the public eye, the Beatles abandoned live performances and retreated to the studio to create their greatest music.But this music, from Revolver to Sgt Pepper, the White Album to Let It Be and ending with Abbey Road, was never performed live in front of an audience.Focusing on this golden era, BEATLECONCERT brings these songs to the stage, adding the excitement and spontaneity of the live performance as one might imagine the fab four would have done.Performed by some of Seattle's most experienced musicians (Fastbacks, Posies, Duff McKagan, SMASH/SMooCH benefit shows, Wild Rumours) and with no costumes or fake accents, BEATLECONCERT instead concentrates solely on the music as a powerful and evocative experience that may be the closest you ever get to seeing the Beatles at the height of their powers.
